PKS Does Not Yet Have A 'tie Promise' With NasDem, But Is Ready To Form A Small Team Together

JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) admits that communication with NasDem regarding the 2024 presidential election continues. PKS hopes that communication with the party created by Surya Paloh will be stronger even though there is no coalition agreement. "We will discuss it gradually, slowly, we still have a long time, hopefully our conversation in ta'aruf will be stronger. But nothing has been tied down," said PKS Secretary General Aboe Bakar. Al-Habsy told reporters, Wednesday, July 6.

Aboe admitted that PKS and NasDem would form a small team to discuss coalition issues.

"Yes, we have to make small teams, it's important so that we can talk further, nothing is binding yet," he said. However, he could not confirm when the PKS and NasDem meetings would be held again.

"Not yet, we are still adjusting the time, it is not easy to adjust the leadership time. It's not easy for the staff," added Aboe.

So how is the continuation of the exploration of the PKS coalition with the PKB? Regarding this, Aboe only said it was good. However, he denied that PKS was said to have been abandoned by the party chaired by Muhaimin Iskandar.

"Who was left behind? It wasn't PKS that made them leave. Let's just relax, there are usually people who are clapping, some are together, just wait for the decision later," he said.

Including if offered to join the United Indonesia Coalition, Aboe said, PKS is ready to cooperate with any party.

"If PKS is ready with everything, there will be no problem. Our KIB is ready with whom the red ant we built will become an ant, let alone we are ready. So you have to follow the political dynamics situation, if you play politics, you can't play it, you can't, boss, " he concluded.
