LAMPUNG - Abdul Moeloek Regional General Hospital (RSUDAM) Lampung began to make improvements to meet the 12 standard inpatient class criteria (KRIS), which were applied to improve the quality of services for the National Health Insurance program. KRIS criteria include the use of hospital building materials, provision of air ventilation, room lighting arrangements, provision of at least two electrical socket-outlets in each patient bed, provision of call access to the nurse's guard room, provision of nightstands in each patient bed, and arrangement of temperature of the treatment room between 20 and 26 degrees Celsius.The next criteria are through including the division of rooms based on gender, age, and type of disease, setting the density of the treatment room and bed quality, providing bathrooms according to accessibility standards in the treatment room, and providing oxygen outlets.

"Everyone has to follow the rules. This readiness has been around for a long time, but it is gradual (implementation). There are 12 criteria that must be met. From a physical room, for example, one standard room only contains four beds and each must be spaced apart," he said. Lukman was quoted by Antara. "This program actually eliminates classes 1,2,3, and provides equality of health services for patients. Therefore, we are currently challenged to create a third class but the service becomes like first class," he said. He stated that the application of KRIS demanded hospital managers to improve the quality of service for patients. "This is an opportunity for hospitals to develop better, professional services. Although this implementation is still in 2023, preparations are starting to be carried out in stages because it takes time and money to improve this," he said. .KRIS is planned to be tested in 50 percent of vertical hospitals, hospitals under the Ministry of Health.
