JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri investigators have sent the investigation files of nine members of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (US) suspects in cases of spreading hate speech and incitement to the Attorney General's Office (AGO). The transfer of files has been carried out since last week.

"It was stage 1, last week," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono to reporters, Tuesday, November 3.

The files of the suspects, said Awi, were being examined by the prosecutor. Police investigators await the complete submission of the files.

Although the files of the suspects have been submitted, investigators are still developing the case. The development was carried out by examining Ahmad Yani based on information from Anton Permana.

Awi said that if new facts emerge during the trial, the investigator will bring back the case. Because the investigation of the case is still ongoing.

"Later, if there are new facts in the trial, we will evaluate it together in the future. We'll see the results. Because, it continues to develop," he said.

As for this case, Bareskrim Polri named 9 people as suspects for the spread of hate speech and incitement related to the chaos of demonstrations against the Job Creation Law.

Of the 9 people, 7 of them are members and high-ranking WE, including Syahganda Nainggolan, Anton Permana, Jumhur Hidayat, Juliana, Devi, Khairi Amri, Wahyu Rasari Putri.

As for the other two, namely former PKS legislative candidates Kingkin Anida and Dedy Wahyudi, the owner of the social media account @podoradong.

They were suspected of having different articles. However, in general they are charged with the ITE Law, articles on hate speech and the spread of hoaxes.
