There Is An Indication Of A Violation Of Regulations, The Ministry Of Social Affairs Revokes The ACT PUB Permit

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) revoked the permit for the Implementation of the Collection of Money and Goods (PUB) that had been given to the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Foundation for 2022, due to the alleged violation of regulations by the Foundation.

The revocation was stated in the Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 133/HUK/2022 dated July 5, 2022 regarding the revocation of the permit to collect donations to the Aksi Cepat Tanggap Foundation in South Jakarta which was signed by the Ad Interim Minister of Social Affairs Muhadjir Effendi, Tuesday, July 5.

For information, Muhadjir who is also Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture temporarily replaces Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini who performs the pilgrimage. said Ad Interim Minister of Social Affairs Muhadjir Effendi in a written statement received Wednesday, July 6. Muhadjir explained, based on the provisions of Article 6 paragraph (1) of Government Regulation No. 29 of 1980 concerning the Implementation of Donation Collection, it reads "Financing for efforts to collect donations is a maximum of 10 percent of the results of the collection of donations concerned".

Meanwhile, based on the results of the clarification, ACT President Ibn Khajar said that an average of 13.7 percent of the funds collected from the community were used as operational funds for the foundation. The figure of 13.7 percent is not in accordance with the provisions of the maximum limit of 10 percent. Meanwhile, the Disaster PUB is entirely distributed to the community without any operational costs from the funds collected.

Furthermore, Muhadjir said that the government is responsive to things that have been troubling the community and will further investigate the permits that have been granted to other foundations.
