Cak Imin Says Health And Transportation Focus On Indonesia Facing The Peak Of Hajj In Makkah

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin said the preparations for the peak of the pilgrimage in Arafah, Muzdhalifah and Mina (Armuzna), Mecca, were in accordance with the government's initial planning.

However, there are two things that need to be anticipated, namely health and transportation problems. Cak Imin said that health is the most important, especially regarding the elderly (elderly) and comorbidities.

"Today's evaluation, all stages of the process and their implementation are in accordance with the planning from the beginning. Even the predictions are that everything is going according to plan, especially Arafah, Muzdhalifah and Mina," he said after the coordination meeting for the implementation of the 1443 H/2022 AD pilgrimage in Mecca, Tuesday. July 5th.

It is known that although the number of congregational quotas has been reduced by half from normal times, the number of high-risk pilgrims has reached 65 percent. In addition, there are also quite a number of pilgrims with comorbid hypertension, cardiovascular, diabetes and lung.

Then related to transportation facilities because of high congestion.

He admitted that he was happy to welcome the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage in 1443 H/2022 AD after two years of stopping due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We are also grateful that all the preparations until the departure went smoothly. We can also decide on additional quotas quickly," he said.

The most important thing, according to Cak Imin, is to be grateful and respect those who are disciplined, and have good morals because according to him, only good and noble people are called as guests of God.

"We are also grateful that our congregation has an extraordinary way of worship and extraordinary enthusiasm so that our congregation is really easy, in other words these good people we serve. Because the glory of these good people is unmatched. our appreciation," he said.
