NATUNA - The Commander of the Ranai Naval Base (Danlanal) Marine Colonel (P) Arif Prasetyo I said that the Operational Task Force (Satgas) for the Security of the Western Outer Islands in 2022 will shift troops and materials.

"The arrival of KRI Teluk Amboina-503 in Natuna, which is commanded by Marine Lt. Col. The replacement troops for the Operations Task Force for the Outermost Islands came from the Infantry Brigade (Brigif) 4 Marines/Standing Alone (BS) Padang Cermin, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung.

Brigif 4 replaces the Marines (Pasmar) 1 Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta, which has served half a year.

"They are Soldiers Battalion 10 Mar/SBY under the ranks of Brigif-4 Mar/BS who will carry out the replacement with soldiers from Pasmar-1 Jakarta who have been carrying out security task force operations for 11 months on Sekatung Island," he said.

He also said that Lanal Ranai in supporting the operation served as a base function, namely serving elements that carried out operations in their working areas.

"One of the duties and functions of the base is to provide logistical and administrative support for elements of the Navy, as well as provide anchoring and base facilities for ships carrying out operational tasks in the Lanal Ranai work area," he said.
