Wife's Revenge Motives Seduced Behind The Shooting Of Junk Shoppers In Sidoarjo

SURABAYA - Receiving a cash reward of Rp100 million was one of the motives for the shooting of the junk boss, M. Sabar, in Tenggulunan Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. In addition, the suspect JO killed the victim to take revenge on his brother with the initials PE.

"Our results show that the perpetrator JO shot because PE was told to do it. It turns out that PE has a romantic grudge against the victim, in which he seduced PE's wife about six years ago," said Sidoarjo Police Chief, Kombes Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro, Friday, July 1.

Based on the information from the suspect JO, continued Kusumo, PE was buried in an old grudge, until finally ordering JO to kill the victim M. Sabar.

To launch the action, PE gave the FN COLT M 1911 pistol to JO to kill Sabar.

"The reward given to JO is IDR 100 million if he manages to carry out his duties properly," he said.

As a result, M. Sabar, the shooting victim suffered two gunshot wounds to the arms and neck, took his last breath after undergoing intensive treatment at the Sidoarjo Hospital, on June 29, 2022.

The police named JO a suspect, for committing a premeditated murder, with a life sentence. Meanwhile, PE is still being hunted by the police.

The suspect was charged with Article 355 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code, Article 351 of the Criminal Code and Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder.
