The Body Of The Minister Of Administrative And Bureaucratic Reform Tjahjo Kumolo Arrives At The Kalibata Heroes Cemetery

JAKARTA - The body of the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan-RB) Tjahjo Kumolo arrived at the Kalibata National Heroes Cemetery (TMPNU), South Jakarta.

Tjahjo Kumolo died at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Central Jakarta at around 11.10 WIB.

Based on VOI monitoring, Tjahjo's body arrived at the grave at around 17.25 WIB. His coffin was seen using the red and white flag.

A number of mourners were present at the TMPNU Kalibata to pay their last respects to Tjahjo. Those seen were the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi; the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Bintang Puspayoga; Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo; and the Minister of Communications and Informatics Johnny G Plate.

In addition, the former Minister of Trade Enggartiasto Lukita was also present; Lemhannas Governor Andi Widjajanto; and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo.

Then there were also the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh and Deputy Chairperson of the MPR Lestari Moerdijat.

Meanwhile, PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri was not present. Said member of Commission VI DPR RI from the PDIP Faction Deddy Sitorus, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia will take part in the online event.

"I haven't confirmed it from the secretariat. But there is a zoom so it's very likely that Mrs. Megawati (follows, ed) with zoom," said Deddy to reporters at TMPNU Kalibata, Jakarta.

Deddy also said PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was not present because he was still in Yogyakarta to carry out party activities.

Before being buried, the body was buried in the official house of the minister, the Widya Chandra complex. Then his body was prayed at the Quba mosque in the Kemenpan-RB office.
