JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya revealed the motive for the murder of a man whose body was found in a sack at Pesanggrahan River, South Jakarta. Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan in Jakarta, Thursday, June 30, said that the perpetrator with the initials MRIA killed ABTL's life because the victims often experienced violence. The perpetrator was hurt, he said.

"Furthermore, the suspect wrapped the victim using a plastic trash bag and sack and the suspect put a bolster pillow in the bag," said Zulpan.

The suspect carried ABTL's body on the victim's motorbike in the front with the victim's position transversely. The victim's body was then taken to the Pesanggrahan River.

Upon arrival, the suspect put a stone in the sack and tied the ends with rope. After that, the suspect threw the victim into the river.

The suspect was arrested by the police at an inn in Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (29/6). For his actions, the suspect is subject to Article 338 of the Criminal Code and or Article 365 of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years.
