Deputy Chairperson Of Banggar Muhidin Collapses In Front Of Puan Maharani After Reading The RAPBN Report At The Plenary Session

JAKARTA - The incident occurred at the plenary session of the DPR today. Deputy Chairman of the Budget Agency (Banggar) Muhidin Mohamad Said suddenly collapsed in front of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Puan Maharani.

Muhidin collapses after submitting the DPR Banggar report related to the RAPBN for the 2023 fiscal year at the Nusantara II DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, June 30.

After reading the DPR's Budget Agency report on the results of preliminary discussions on the 2023 RAPBN and the government's 2023 work plan, Muhidin moved to the DPR leadership desk to submit documents. Muhidin suddenly lost his balance after saying goodbye to the chair of the DPR session.

The council members in the courtroom were shocked. The meeting was finally adjourned for some time. It is not yet known what caused Muhidin to collapse during the plenary session.

After being evacuated, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad again continued the plenary meeting with the agenda of Submission of Government Information on the Bill on Accountability for the Implementation of the State Budget for Fiscal Year 2021; which was read by the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani.

There is also the next plenary agenda, namely, Level II Discussions/Decision Making on: a) the Bill on the Province of West Sumatra; b) Bill on Riau Province; c) Bill on Jambi Province; d) Bill on the Province of West Nusa Tenggara; and e) Bill on the Province of East Nusa Tenggara.

Then, Level II Discussions/Decision Making on: a) the Bill on the Establishment of the Province of South Papua; b) Bill on the Establishment of the Province of Central Papua; and c) Bill on the Establishment of the Papua Mountains Province.

The report of Commission III of the DPR on the results of the discussion of the Candidates for Supreme Court Justices and Ad Hoc Judges Corruption at the Supreme Court in 2021/2022, followed by decision making;

As well as the opinions of the factions on the Draft Bill on Initiatives from Members of the House of Representatives on Maternal and Child Welfare, followed by Decision Making to become the Proposed Bill of the DPR.
