KKHI Mecca Prepares 10 Buses For Safari Wukuf

MEKKAH - The Indonesian Hajj Health Office (KKHI) team in the Mecca working area has prepared 10 buses for safaris for sick pilgrims.

"We provide approximately 10 buses. Four buses are for sick pilgrims lying down and six buses are prepared for safari pilgrims while sitting down," said Head of the Indonesian Hajj Health Office (KKHI) Mecca, Dr. Andi Ardjuna Sakti in Mecca, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, June 29.

For buses that are seated, the number of seats filled is approximately 50 percent, with an estimate that one bus can carry 25 worshipers. A total of about 125 pilgrims can be visited by bus.

As for the lay congregation, four buses have been prepared, each with a capacity of approximately six to eight pilgrims.

On each bus, KKHI Mecca will assign a team consisting of doctors, nurses and health support personnel (TPK).

Then each bus will be filled with worship guides. So the congregation who will be traveling will not be separated from health services and worship which is a collaboration between the Ministry of Religion and the Ministry of Health, he said.

He said that so far, there have been 61 pilgrims participating in the wukuf safari. The Mecca KKHI health team will determine the pilgrims who will go on the wukuf safari.

Ardjuna said that the data on the congregation who took part in this wukuf safari was still temporary and could change. Depending on the results of the assessment team of doctors safari wukuf.

The Mecca KKHI health team is still evaluating pilgrims who have entered the wukuf safari data until 8 Dzulhijah.

"We will evaluate the health of the congregation until D-1. In D-1, it is estimated that all the congregations who will be traveling will get the data," he said.
