JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo hopes that no cities in Ukraine will be destroyed by war, when he inspects one of the locations affected by the attack by Russian troops, Wednesday.

President Jokowi started his agenda in Ukraine by reviewing the Lipky Apartment complex in Irpin City, Ukraine. Accompanied by Mayor Irpin Alexander Grigorovich Markushin, President Jokowi saw the rubble of war-damaged apartment buildings.

"I was accompanied by the Mayor of Irpin and the Deputy Mayor of Irpin to see the damage that had occurred in the city of Irpin due to the war and it was very sad that many houses were damaged and also infrastructure was damaged," said President Jokowi after the review, launching the website of the President of the Republic of Indonesia on Wednesday. Furthermore, President Jokowi also hopes that the war can be stopped soon and that no more cities in Ukraine will be damaged by the war.

"We hope that there will be no more damaged cities in Ukraine due to war," President Jokowi hoped.

According to the plan, the President and Mrs. Iriana are also scheduled to visit the Center for Endocrine Science and Surgery, Endocrine Organ and Tissue Transplantation in Kyiv City, before meeting with President Zelensky at the Maryinsky Palace.
