JAKARTA - The police have uncovered the murder case of a man with the initials ABTL whose body was found floating in a sack in the Pesanggrahan River, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. The mastermind or perpetrator of the murder has been arrested.

"We received information from the team in the field that the perpetrator in this case was a man born in 2004," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, June 29.

The perpetrator of the murder had the initials MRIA (18) who was a student. He was arrested in the Kedunghalang area, Bogor City.

From the results of the interim examination, MRIA acted as the executor of the murder. He hit and stabbed the victim in the neck.

"His role was as an executor, hitting and stabbing the victim in the neck and throwing him into the river," he said.

However, the motive for the murder has not been disclosed. The reason is that the perpetrators are still under intensive investigation.

"While we are still conducting further investigations. We will convey the motives and so on later," said Zulpan.
