JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) will open a pick-up service for changing addresses in population documents on Wednesday, June 29 tomorrow.

The ball pick-up service due to the change of street names to names of Betawi figures is carried out simultaneously in 5 city areas and 1 district. The ball pick-up service starts at 09.00 to 12.00 WIB.

Head of DKI Disdukcapil Budi Awaludin said this service aims to provide comfort and convenience for people who want to change their address according to the new road naming.

"The ball pick-up service and door-to-door outreach will continue to be carried out, changing locations randomly every day until residents have population data with the latest addresses," Budi said in his statement, Tuesday, June 28.

Budi revealed that the change in the street with the name of the Betawi figure, also changed the address column on the KTP, KIA and Family Card.

Therefore, the DKI Dukcapil has coordinated with the Directorate General of Dukcapil of the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs for the availability of e-KTP and KIA blanks. Remember, blanks are the basic material in printing e-KTP and KIA.

"Based on existing data, there are 5,637 mandatory ID cards affected by the change in street names," said Budi.

Furthermore, Budi appealed to his staff to provide fast, accurate, and complete services, especially at the momentum of the change of 22 street names in Jakarta.

In addition, Budi advised the public to report any extortion at the agency he leads. "We will not hesitate to take firm action for officers who still use the old method. This is part of our commitment to the community in providing services," he said.

Budi asked the public to take good use of this ball pick-up service. This is because after the community changes their residence documents, they can gradually replace other documents at the agency according to their service needs.
