JAKARTA - An unidentified male body was found floating in a sack around the Pesanggarahan River, Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. Local residents who know the discovery immediately came out of the house to see the condition of the body.

The Head of the Kebayoran Lama Police, Kompol Agus Widartono, said the discovery took place on Tuesday, June 28, at 10.15 WIB.

It started with the Sanitation Service officer from the South Jakarta Environmental Sub-department who was doing the cleaning at the Pesanggarahan river by wearing a beko.

"When cleaning with a beko, it was found that (the corpse) was reported to Binmas. Then it was reported to the police chief," Agus said when confirmed, Tuesday, June 28.

When the identification team conducted a crime scene (TKP) at the location where the body was found, officers only found Rp2,000 in the victim's pocket.

The victim was immediately taken to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta to determine the cause of death.

"(The victim) was taken to Kramat Jati," he concluded.
