Sambas Regent Says Head Of District Office Refuses Cooperation With Task Force For Reducing Stunting

JAKARTA - Sambas Regent Satono encouraged regional apparatus organizations within the regency government to eliminate sectoral egos in order to accelerate the handling of stunting in the area.

"I want every agency in Sambas Regency that has a role to play there, must eliminate sectoral egos if you want to succeed in reducing stunting rates. Regional heads and deputy heads, said Satono, will not be able to deal with stunting if the agencies below them do not synergize with each other and impose their respective sectoral egos.

"I don't want to hear anymore that there is an office head in Sambas Regency who doesn't want to work together in the Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team. Remember, we can't work alone. The stunting rate in Sambas Regency is even higher than the West Kalimantan Province stunting rate. we must unite. The Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team already exists, now how do we intervene according to the stunting locus mapping in Sambas Regency, "he explained.

Satono thanked the Head of the Health Service and Head of the P3AP2KB Office of Sambas Regency, as well as the Head of the West Kalimantan Province BKKBN for collaborating in implementing the program to accelerate the reduction in stunting rates.
