JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through BUMD Bank DKI has digitized transactions in four markets in Jakarta, namely Kedoya Market, West Jakarta; Santa Market, South Jakarta; Koja Market, North Jakarta; and Klender Perumnas Market, East Jakarta.
This market digitization is included in the DKI Provincial Government Program, namely SIAP QRIS (Innovative Healthy and Safe to Use-Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). Most recently, market digitization was opened at the Klender Perumnas Market.
Director of Retail and Sharia of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi, said that market visitors can use the JakOne Pay application to make these transactions.
"For a market whose transaction dominance is buying and selling, Bank DKI has now presented JakOne Pay simple apps as an application for the millennial and Gen Z youths that can be used to perform various daily transactions," said Babay in his statement, Monday, June 27.
Babay revealed, the JakOne Pay application can be downloaded via the Google Play Store for Android-based smartphones and the App Store for IOS-based smartphones.
"This application supports transactions to scan to pay QRIS, as well as other server-based electronic money activities," said Babay.
Furthermore, Babay revealed that during the past 3 months, transactions through EDC machines and JakOne Abank at the Klender Perumnas Market have been carried out more than 1,500 times.
Therefore, this is the basis for the DKI Provincial Government to decide that market digitization can be served at Klender Market. "So from there, it will be a signal that they have started going digital," he added.
For information, the launch of market digitization began on November 25, 2021 at Santa Market. This program is claimed to provide benefits for MSME actors and the public because it is easier to transact in the market through digital banking services.
