JAKARTA - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Inspectorate has re-calculated state losses in the case of the construction project for the Emergency Room Installation (IGD) of the North Lombok Regional General Hospital (RSUD).

NTB Inspector Ibnu Salim said this was done at the request of the prosecutor's investigator.

"Yes, so based on the investigator's request, we will do a recount," said Ibnu in Mataram, NTB, quoted from Antara, Monday 27 June.

In this activity, his party involved a team of experts from the NTB Public Works and Spatial Planning Service (PUPR).

Ibnu confirmed that this step was to help his party analyze the project work that was running in 2019.

"The results of the expert's physical check will be the basis for calculating the losses," he said.

Furthermore, Ibnu said, the prosecutor's office asked for a recount of state losses from this case because there were goods that had not been included in the results of the previous calculation.

"So there are materials 'on site' that have not been counted," he said.

The previous calculation stated that the state loss in this case was Rp. 742.75 million. The state loss figure arises from the alleged overpayment of the project.

The project with the name of adding an Emergency Installation (IGD) room at the North Lombok Hospital was carried out by PT Batara Guru Group. The project was carried out with a value of IDR 5.1 billion in the 2019 fiscal year.

Allegations of corruption emerged after the government terminated the project contract in the middle of the work progress. This was confirmed by the previous state losses, amounting to Rp.742.75 million.

The mode of corruption in this case relates to the project work which was still declared completed even though there were still allegations of a lack of work volume.

For this project, the NTB District Attorney's Office named the North Lombok Deputy Regent, DKF, as a suspect. When this project was running, DKF assumed the position of expert staff from the supervisory consultant CV. Indo Mulya Consultant.

DKF became a suspect along with the leadership of CV Indo Mulya Consultant, initials LFH, Director of North Lombok Hospital, initials SH, project commitment making officer (PPK) initials HZ, and the attorney of the director of PT Batara Guru Group, MF.
