TASIKMALAYA - A passenger who was a victim of a tourism bus accident in Rajapolah, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java, on Saturday (25/6) was found buried under the ground around the location of the bus crash at the bottom of a ravine.

Head of the Search and Rescue Office or the Bandung National SAR Agency, Deden Ridwansyah, confirmed that a joint team in the field had found a passenger who had previously been reported missing after the bus crash into a ravine in Rajapolah, Tasikmalaya, Saturday (25/6) early in the morning.

"Today at 10.37 WIB, the joint SAR team found the victim dead in the vicinity of the incident buried under the ground," said Deden, quoted by Antara, Monday, June 27.

He said the joint search team was looking for the missing victim Siti Munawaroh (30) either by exploring the vicinity of the incident location and the flow of rivers in the area.

The victim, he said, was finally found dead, then taken to the Rajapolah Health Center before being handed over to the family.

"Furthermore, the victim was taken to the Rajapolah Health Center," he said.

After finding the victim, the next search operation was stopped, and they returned to their respective units.
