DENPASAR - The South Denpasar Police Sector Team, Bali, arrested four employees of PT Kitchen Inspiration Nusantara for stealing. The stolen kitchen utensils were worth more than IDR 30 million.

There were 5 perpetrators of the theft, namely Muhamad Yasin (35), Agung Arya Sastama Putra (22), Purnama (33), Rio Fajar Febriana (23). One person named Kartana is still being sought by the police.

The theft at PT Dapur Inspirasi Nusantara occurred on Thursday, June 16. Another employee found missing kitchen utensils when a customer arrived.

The missing items were 10 spare parts griddle cooking plate with a size of 90 cm as many as 5 units and 5 units measuring 60 cm.

"Regarding this incident, the complainant reported to the South Denpasar Police for further treatment," said Teja.

Based on the report, the police conducted an investigation of the crime scene and examined a number of employees.

One employee named Rio Fajar Febriana admitted to stealing the kitchen utensils along with 4 colleagues. From that confession, the perpetrators were arrested.

"The four perpetrators were taken to the South Denpasar Police. The results of their interrogation revealed that they jointly took goods at the crime scene and sold them to scavengers and the proceeds from the sellers were used for daily needs," he said.
