"Treatment of cattle with symptoms of FMD 3,425 heads consists of 75 sheep, four goats, 16 buffaloes, 1,532 beef cattle, 1,798 dairy cows," he said.

The animal health team, he said, will continue to ensure that the cattle sold for sacrifice are in healthy condition, especially free of FMD.

In addition, he continued, his staff has also carried out PMK vaccinations for a number of livestock, especially cattle in several farms.

"We are also spraying disinfectant in the affected area of the cage," he said.
