The Results Of The Psychological Test Of The Father Invited His Child To Commit Suicide In Kudus Sehat

JAKART - The Kudus Resort Police, Central Java, revealed that the results of the psychological test of a suicide perpetrator named "EG" (48) from Jati Subdistrict who took his son to death did not suffer from mental disorders.

"The results of the psychological test of the perpetrator are in normal condition, so psychologically they are completely healthy and there are no mental disorders. For that, the criminal case is still being continued," said Chief of Kudus Police AKBP Aditya Surya Dharma in Kudus, reported by Antara, Friday, October 30.

For now, he said, the perpetrator is still in detention while waiting for the complete case file.

The perpetrator himself has undergone a psychiatric test at the Regional Mental Hospital (RSJD) dr. Amino Semarang to prove that the person concerned is really psychologically healthy.

The results of the preliminary examination by the police, "EG" admitted his actions which made his son die.

Initially, the perpetrator had intended to commit suicide, but seeing his son with the initials "IM" watching television alone, he thought of finishing him as well.

The perpetrator thinks he is positive for COVID-19, then wants to commit suicide. When he saw his son, the perpetrator remembered that a few days before the incident his son who was sick with asthma was also believed to have been exposed to COVID-19 so that when he was watching television he was killed.

If the perpetrator is proven to have committed the crime of killing his life, he can be charged under Article 338 concerning murder with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
