Prabowo Is Considered A Magnet For Political Figures

JAKARTA - Political observer and Director of IndoStrategi Research and Consulting Arif Nurul Imam assessed that the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party DPP Prabowo Subianto is a magnet for political figures.

"So, Prabowo has a complete package, has the certainty of the supporting party and has high electability," said Arif Nurul Imam, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, June 25.

He assessed that Prabowo has two things that can become a political magnet, namely a high level of electability and having a political party. If a character has high electability but does not have a political party, then it certainly cannot become a political magnet.

"So, my language has become a magnet because Prabowo has two sides, while what other potential figures have has only one side. Big names like Ganjar (Pranowo) and Anies (Baswedan) who will make sure he will advance," he added.

Meanwhile, regarding the visit of the DPP General Chairperson of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) to Prabowo's residence, Arif assessed that AHY had a political motive to establish intense communication.

"AHY's presence at Prabowo's residence, apart from establishing communication, is also a factor because Prabowo has a big chance in the 2024 presidential election," he said.

Previously, AHY kept in touch with a number of political figures from other parties. Apart from visiting Prabowo, Friday, AHY also visited the house of the General Awakening Party (PKB) DPP chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, Saturday (18/6).
