Central Sulawesi Provincial Government Targets Minimum 100 Job Vacancies, Not Only Domestic But Also Overseas

PALU - The Central Sulawesi Provincial Government through the Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans), will hold a virtual job fair on the third Sunday of July 2022. The Central Sulawesi Provincial Government targets a minimum of 100 job vacancies.

For that, they invited 50 companies to be involved in the virtual job fair. The targets are several mining companies operating in a number of areas in Central Sulawesi.

"In addition to job vacancies for domestic placements, we also provide job vacancies for placements abroad, especially in the health sector," said Darmawati, the introduction to the field of training for the expansion of placement and labor productivity (P5TK) at the Central Sulawesi Manpower and Transmigration Agency, Darmawati, as reported by Antara, Saturday, June 25.

"Later on, workers who pass to work abroad will become formal Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) who have legality," he continued.

It also seeks outsourcing companies to participate in virtual job fairs in the local area. Considering that they distribute enough labor to be contracted by companies that need workers.

"We hope that the number of applicants who can become directors as employees by the company in the virtual job fair exceeds the target we set," he said.

Head of the Central Sulawesi Manpower and Transmigration Office, Arnold Firdaus Darmawati, hopes that the virtual job market program will contribute to reducing the number of unemployed in all regions in Central Sulawesi.

"In order to reduce unemployment and bring together job seekers with employers in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower (Permenaker) Number 39 of 2016 concerning Manpower Placement, articles 53 and 54 concerning Employment Opportunities Exhibition," he said.
