Commentary On The PDIP Grilled Fish Festival At JCC, Puan: The Impression At JCC Is Very Stylish, But The Heart Remains With The Little Wong

JAKARTA - PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) is holding the Nusantara Fish Grill Festival at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Hall B, Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday, June 25. DPR chairman Puan Maharani said this activity was to commemorate the Bung Karno month series as well as to meet with the people.

"As stated earlier, because we commemorate Bung Karno's month during June, the PDI-P always carries out various activities that can go out into the field to meet with the people and of course benefit all of us," said Puan in her speech before the event started.

The chairman of the PDIP DPP said that his party had always been seen as an elite party. However, Puan ensured that PDIP would remain with the people.

"Earlier, the impression was that at JCC it was really stylish, yes, that's the impression, I think it will burn it where it's burned outside, not inside here," he said.

"This PDI-P, it looks cool, even though his heart is still with the young people, he is still with the people," added Puan.

Furthermore, Puan highlighted that people's preference for eating fish is starting to decline. So, this event is hoped to be able to re-encourage this habit.

The grilled fish event was attended by 7,000 people online and offline. According to him, this is a form of implementing Bhineka Tunggal Ika.

"And this is a form of implementing Bhineka Tunggal Ika. So, in the sense that in all regions the fish are different, so we can eat all types of fish from all regions of Indonesia and this has been followed by nearly 7,000 people zoom and offline and of course 34 provinces in Indonesia ," he concluded.
