JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Metro Police have named 6 Holywings workers as suspects in cases of violating the ITE Law. They were found guilty after initiating, creating and distributing e-Flyers containing promos for free alcoholic beverages for owners of the names Muhammad and Maria on social media.

The Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto said that he had raised the status of the six people to become suspects, they were EJD (27), NDP (36), DAD (27), EA (22), AAB (25) and AAM. (25).

"Increased to the investigation this afternoon, we named 6 suspects," explained Budhi to reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday, June 24.

Budhi said that the suspects were proven to have committed criminal offenses from the results of the lawsuit.

"Investigators are of the opinion that there are several people who have been legally held accountable so that some of these people have been upgraded from witness to suspect," he said.

The suspects were charged with Article 14 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of Law No. 1 of 1946 and also Article 156 or Article 156 a of the Criminal Code. Then article 28 paragraph 2 of UU RI No. 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to UU RI No. 11 of 2008 concerning ITE with a threat of 10 years in prison.
