Two Landslide Victims In Bogor Have Not Been Found, The SAR Team Drops Alkon And Extraction Equipment

JAKARTA - The search for two landslide victims in Bogor Regency, West Java, is still ongoing until Friday, June 24, noon.

Although the Jakarta SAR Office has sent rescue personnel to the location since Thursday, June 23, yesterday, the two victims who were buried by the landslide have not been found.

As is known, the landslide occurred due to the high intensity of rain in Bogor Regency on Wednesday, June 22, at 19.00 WIB.

Based on a report from the Jakarta SAR Office, the two victims buried by landslides were in two different areas in Bogor Regency, West Java.

"The victim named Umar (42) is still being searched by joint SAR personnel in Cibunian Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency, West Java," said Fazzli, Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in SAR operations, Friday, 24 June.

Meanwhile, another victim named Yadi Jayadi (47), continued Fazzli, is currently being searched in Purasari Village, Leuwiliang District, Bogor Regency, West Java.

"We are sending rescue personnel to the landslide disaster location in Pamijahan. The team will coordinate with joint elements to determine the SAR operation plan," said Fazzli when confirmed by VOI.

Furthermore, Fazzli explained, the search and rescue operation will be carried out by digging using alkon and extrusion equipment around the incident site. Dozens of joint SAR personnel were also deployed in the search for victims.

The SAR team involved in the search for victims buried by the landslide are the Jakarta SAR Office, Bogor Regency BPBD, Bogor Regency Fire Department, Cibungbulan Koramil, Cibungbulan Police, Bogor Regency Tagana and other SAR agencies and elements.

Previously, it was reported that one resident of Cibunian Village, Pamijahan, Bogor Regency, West Java, died and six houses were heavily damaged by flash floods and landslides from the overflowing Cianten River on Wednesday, June 22, evening.

The natural disaster triggered by heavy rains also caused a number of other damages, such as public facilities such as bridges, access roads and farm ponds owned by residents. The overflow of the Cianten River also caused not only flash floods, but also landslides.
