JAKARTA - The South Jakarta City Government plans to open an identity change service related to the change of several street names.

Head of the South Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-dept., Nurohman, said that his party would pick up the documents regarding the processing.

Some street names have an impact on the addresses listed in the KTP, KK, and Child Identity Card (KIA) columns.

"The South Jakarta Dukcapil is ready to carry out the service (pick up the ball)," said Nurohman when confirmed, Friday, June 24.

On the occasion, Nurohman said he would coordinate with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) regarding the technicalities of picking up the ball to the homes of affected residents for document processing.

"We are still coordinating with the Department, and are waiting for further directions regarding the change in street names," he said.

For information, there are four street names that have been changed in the South Jakarta area, including Jagakarsa, Pasar Minggu and Pancoran sub-districts.
