JAKARTA - The House for the Fight against COVID-19 (RLC) in South Tangerang City, Banten, has begun to be alerted again for patients who need treatment due to exposure to the corona virus.

The Coordinator of the House for the Fight against COVID-19 for the City of South Tangerang, Suhara Manullang, in his statement in Tangerang, Monday, June 20, said that this preparedness was in accordance with the instructions of the local mayor.

He said that currently there are no patients being treated at the COVID-19 Fighting House in South Tangerang City, although there is an increase in daily cases according to the data from the Health Service.

"We are preparing to anticipate if there is an increase in COVID-19 cases," he said.

South Tangerang Mayor Benyamin Davnie said there had indeed been an increase in daily cases of COVID-19 in the last few days.

"There was an increase in daily cases, initially 28 cases, then 40 cases and became 43 cases. In the past week there has been an increase in daily cases," he said.

Benjamin said the increase in COVID-19 cases was still of the omicron type. For BA.4 and BA.5 Subvariants have not been found. "Until now, it is still the type of omicron. For now, there is no new sub-variant identified," he said.
