The regent of Mamuju Regency, Sutinah Suhardi Duka in Mamuju, said Saturday that Mamuju Regency was one of the areas declared to have passed the KLA evaluation, along with two other regencies in West Sulawesi.

She said the second stage of evaluation was carried out by the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KPPA) involving members of the KLA task force.

In addition, it involves the National Children's Space Forum, which is a children's organization fostered by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia through KPPA, to bridge communication and interaction between the government and children throughout Indonesia in the context of fulfilling children's participation rights.

"The evaluation of the Mamuju KLA is carried out by conducting an assessment of each required indicator," said Sutinah, quoting Antara, Sunday, June 19.

According to him, Mamuju Regency will still need to take part in verification to get the Primary title.

He conveyed, to get to KLA, the Mamuju Regency Government has carried out activities in the fields of fulfilling civil rights and children's freedom, family environment and alternative care, basic health and education welfare, utilization of leisure time and culture.

In addition, the Mamuju District Government has drawn up regulations related to strengthening the institutions involved in realizing the KLA which is currently being processed at the Mamuju DPRD.

He also said that the Mamuju Regency Government to realize KLA made a breakthrough so that the protection rights for children were not only felt in the Mamuju city area.

However, it can also reach remote areas, by involving sub-districts and villages to play a role in presenting KLA.
