Entering The Presidential Candidate Exchange, Ganjar Pranowo Admits He Has Not Been Contacted By NasDem

JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, responded to the question of his name being listed on the presidential candidate exchange as a result of the recommendation from the National Working Meeting of the NasDem Party. It is known that Ganjar is one of three names announced by NasDem General Chair Surya Paloh as a presidential candidate for 2024. Ganjar admits that he has not been contacted by the NasDem Party regarding communication as a presidential candidate from that party. "Not yet," said Ganjar to VOI, Saturday, June 18. However, Ganjar was reluctant to comment further on his presidential candidacy through the NasDem Party. Previously, NasDem Party DPP Chairman Willy Aditya said his party would immediately establish direct communication with the three names recommended to run for the 2024 presidential election. The three names announced at the NasDem National Working Meeting, Friday, June 18, evening, were DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa, and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo.

"We have discussed it officially, of course. After this, we will send this decision to the three candidates and culturally we will carry out communication with the three candidates," said Willy at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, June 18, evening.

Willy said that NasDem was just waiting for a response or an answer from the three figures regarding the results of the NasDem National Working Meeting (Rakernas).

"The second is cultural communication, emotional communication, personal approach, of course we will build it with the three candidates. Insyaallah in the near future of course we will inform all of our friends with whom the ta'aruf will be carried out first," he said.
