BEKASI - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is again carrying out road maintenance work with reconstruction at five points of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to improve the safety and comfort of road users.

"The work is starting tonight, as well as our efforts to improve minimum service standards," said Operation and Maintenance Department Head Representative Office 1 Jasamarga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division Nouval M. Rizky as reported by Antara, Friday, June 17.

He said the first point of work was on lane 1 of the Karawang Timur 2 Toll Gate (GT) from the direction of Cikampek with a handling length of 40 meters, while the second point was on lane 2 GT Karawang Timur 2 from the direction of Jakarta, which was 98 meters long.

"Work on the two road points is planned to start tonight at 21.00 WIB until Sunday (19/6) at 10.00 WIB using the flexible pavement technique," he said.

The third point of work is in lane 2 On Ramp GT Bekasi Barat with a handling length of 30 meters which will also start this evening at 23.00 WIB until Monday (20/6) at 05.00 WIB using the rigid pavement reconstruction method.

Then proceed with road repairs at Kilometer (KM) 26+985 to KM 27+723 lane 1 in the direction of Cikampek with a handling length of 155 meters from Saturday (18/6) at 10.00 WIB to Friday (24/6/2022) at 12.00 WIB .

Finally, rigid pavement reconstruction at KM 36+691 to KM 36+330 on the outer shoulder towards Jakarta with a handling length of 418 meters which is scheduled to start on Monday (20/6) at 10.00 WIB until Sunday (26/6/2022) at 15.00 WIB .

"There are no closures due to this work. The Jakarta-Cikampek toll road sections heading to Jakarta and Cikampek are still operating normally," he said.

Jasa Marga has prepared risk mitigation, including diverting the traffic flow that is affected before the work area, narrowing the work area, preparing counterpoints in case of heavy vehicle traffic conditions, and coordinating with related parties.
