Polda Sulbar 'opens Up' The Kitchen, Shows Off Tactical Vehicles To Guns

JAKARTA - The West Sulawesi Regional Police exhibited various equipment used by its personnel to safeguard public security and order (kamtibmas).

The Head of Public Relations of the West Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Commissioner Syamsu Ridwan, in Mamuju, said that the security equipment exhibition was held to commemorate the 76th Anniversary of Bhayangkara.

"The exhibition of security equipment in the context of Bhayangkara's 76th Anniversary will be held for three days, from June 17-19 2022," said Syamsu Ridwan, Friday, June 17, quoted from Antara.

The role of the security equipment, which was held at the Manakarra Beach Pavilion, Mamuju Regency, was opened by the Head of the West Sulawesi Police, Inspector General of Police, Verdianto I Bitticaca.

Various equipment to modern tactical equipment used by the West Sulawesi Regional Police in carrying out their duties were exhibited at a special booth that could be visited by the entire community.

Not only that, a series of weapons and special vehicles were presented at the exhibition, ranging from patrol vehicles to armored vehicles belonging to the Mobile Brigade and Sabhara Units.

At the beginning of the opening, hundreds of people seemed very enthusiastic about visiting the West Sulawesi Police security equipment exhibition which was first held in the area.

Several students were seen trying to hold firearms to board a tactical vehicle owned by the West Sulawesi Police Mobile Brigade Unit.

"This is one of the steps taken by the West Sulawesi Regional Police to make people love the police more, be closer to the police, and know what the police's duties are in maintaining security, especially in West Sulawesi," said Syamsu Ridwan.

The police exhibition in the context of Bhayangkara's 76th Anniversary will be closed with a leisurely walk, happy bicycles, and aerobics by preparing various attractive prizes.

"Closing it on Sunday (19/6), we prepared prizes in the form of four motorbikes and hundreds of other attractive prizes which will be drawn by a series of Lively Bhayangkara activities in the form of relaxing bicycles, Santa walks, and gymnastics," explained Syamsu Ridwan.
