JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially inaugurated the General Chair of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan and former TNI Commander Hadi Tjahjanto on Wednesday, June 15.
At the State Palace, Jakarta, Jokowi inaugurated Zulkifli Hasan as Trade Minister replacing M. Lutfi. Meanwhile, Hadi Tjahjanto became Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN).

After the inauguration was carried out, Jokowi said he chose those who were inducted because of their experience and track record.
"Yes, we see all the track records of experience then especially for managerial skills because now it is not only macro but also micro that must be done in detail," said Jokowi after the inauguration.
He then said Zulhas had a long track record. So, Jokowi believes he will be able to become the Minister of Trade who will solve the food problem.

As for Hadi, Jokowi believes he is able to serve to the fullest as Minister of ATR/BPN. "He used to be a former commander in charge of the territory," he said.
Hadi is also believed to be able to solve three existing problems, ranging from land disputes, land certification, to land affairs for the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago.
"Last night I conveyed that matters relating to land disputes, land disputes must be resolved as much as possible. Second, the issue of certificates must be resolved as much as possible," he said.
"And I believe, Pak Hadi has the ability to do that," he concluded.
