Transwoman Becomes Suspect In The Death Of A Student At The Cipulir Apartment

JAKARTA - The police have named one suspect in the death case I (22) whose body was found in the Cipulir apartment, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. The suspect is a transwoman with the initials L who was previously detained.

"Only one suspect has been named," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, June 15.

This transwoman was secured a day after I's body was found in a decomposed state or Thursday, June 9.

Meanwhile, regarding the role played by L in the alleged murder case, Zulpan declined to comment. The reason is that information about the matter will be conveyed by the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"Later, let the South (Polres, red) just do it. The Regional Police have directed it there," said Zulpan.

The student with the initials I was found dead half naked. Condition I was pathetic, his body was already rotting. The body was found on Wednesday, June 8, at around 14.21 WIB, in a supine position on the bed without wearing pants.

The disclosure of the case began when one of the residents of the apartment smelled an unpleasant odor coming from the victim's room, then reported it to the security officers. At that time the security guard opened the door to the apartment room and found the victim already dead on the bed.

The police who conducted the crime scene (TKP) did not find any signs of violence or injuries on the victim's body. Investigators only found a bong or a shabu suction device and a plastic clip not far from the victim's body.
