JAKARTA - To avoid further attacks that were allegedly carried out by Gunung Antang thugs, joint officers from the TNI, Polri and Satpol PP established a security post on Jalan Kemuning, RT 05/01 Rawa Bunga, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

The Head of Jatinegara Police, Kompol Entong Raharja, said that the post was established after reports from residents who claimed to be restless with the attacks carried out by a group of people in the last few days.

"One of the reasons for establishing this post is to prevent this incident from happening again. Based on the coordination of the leaders of the three pillars, we established this post," said Entong in Jakarta, Wednesday, June 14.

Entong added that a total of 30 joint officers from the TNI, Polri and Satpol PP were guarding the post which is located not far from Mount Antang.

Entong said that the plan was to establish the security post in the next one week while evaluating the security conditions in the area.

"The guard will be arranged later, we will see what kind of situation the situation is. It means that at 20.00-08.00 WIB in the morning there is no empty space," said Entong.

Entong also appealed to residents in RT 05/01 Rawa Bunga not to be provoked into fighting.

"Citizens' appeals are of course to be able to restrain themselves. If you are worried that something will happen again, you can completely hand over security to the three pillars," explained Entong.
