In the Plenary Meeting, the Chairman of Commission II of the DPR Ahmad Doli Kurnia said that his party received an assignment from the Deliberative Body (Bamus) of the DPR to discuss the names of the candidates for DKPP members proposed by the DPR.

"On June 13, 2022, we held an internal meeting to start initial discussions regarding candidates for DKPP members. Each faction proposed names who understood ethics related to elections," said Doli.

Doli said, Monday (13/6), his party held a Leadership Meeting with the Head of the Faction Group (Kapoksi) and decided by deliberation the three names of candidates for DKPP members for the period 2022-2027 which were then reported in the internal meeting of Commission II of the DPR.

Doli explained that Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning Elections stated that there were seven members of the DKPP, consisting of one ex officio KPU, one ex officio Bawaslu, and five community representatives. The five people's proposals are three from the DPR's proposal and two from the President's proposal.
