PDIP Still Strong In The Charta Politica Survey, PAN And PPP Have Big PRs

JAKARTA - The latest Charta Politica survey shows that PDIP is still standing at the top position with a figure of 24.1 percent.

Charta Politics Executive Director Yunarto Wijaya said the party standings for the legislative election (pileg) were not much different, still controlled by several parties and there were still several parties that had to fight hard to escape the 4 percent parliamentary threshold (PT).

"PDIP is still in first place with 24.1 percent, Gerindra is second with 13.8 percent, Golkar is in third place with 11.3 percent," Yunarto said in an online presentation, Monday, June 13.

PKB followed in fourth place with 8.3 percent, Democrats at 7.2 percent balanced with PKS 7.0 percent, NasDem rose at 5.3 percent. While PPP with 2.7 percent and PAN 2.0 percent.

"PPP and PAN still get scores below the parliamentary threshold. Even though there are 25.8 percent undecided voters," he continued.

Then in tenth place was Perindo with 1.3 percent, followed by PSI 0.6 percent, Hanura 0.4 percent, Gelora 0.3 percent, the Ummat Party with 0.1 percent, PKPI 0.1, PBB 0.1.

"The biggest PRs on record are in PPP and PAN, which are below the PT figure. What we know is that the Pilleg will coincide with the Presidential Election, which will affect the figure of the presidential candidate," Yunarto explained.

In addition, the choice of presidential candidate will affect the PDIP which has never won since Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) came to power.

PDIP then got the right figure in 2014 namely Jokowi to win consecutively in the 2019 election.

"The Gerindra Party will still depend on Prabowo because there is still a big PR, Mr. Prabowo, even though he has run for elections three times, but his position is no longer in first place, overtaken by Ganjar," he explained.

"Similarly, the Golkar Party will have a strong presidential candidate. PKB also has the same problem as Golkar, its ambition to be a candidate for its chairman, but until now its general chairman has not been in the top five," added Yunarto.
