JAKARTA - PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri visited the shopping center which is also the first mall in Jakarta, Sarinah in Central Jakarta.

During this visit, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia was accompanied by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir. Megawati Soekarnoputri visited Sarinah at around 14.30 WIB.

From the observations of VOI, he and Erick Thohir visited several locations in this mall, including historic reliefs depicting farmers during the Soekarno administration which are now displayed on the ground floor.

This relief was found when Sarinah was about to be restored some time ago after being inaccessible for decades.
