The Beginning Of The Iko Uwais Case Reported To The Police, Interior Design Wages Bill

JAKARTA - Artist Iko Uwais was reported to the Bekasi Metro Police for alleged abuse. The police said the case started with the victim who asked for money as payment for interior design services.

"Initially, Iko Uwais's brother used the victim's interior design service. To build his house in Cibubur," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Monday, June 13.

The victim named Rudi collects it by sending an invoice via the WhatsApp short message application. Because, in the agreement that has been agreed upon by both of them, only half of the payment has been made.

However, the communication that Rudi tried to do was fruitless. Iko Uwais did not respond at all.

A few days later, on Saturday, June 11, the beating took place. At that time, Rudi and his wife who were about to go home passed right in front of Iko Uwais' house.

Suddenly, the artist who is known for his fighting actions called Rudi by shouting and clapping his hands.

"Then brother Iko Uwais called the victim by clapping his hands and shouting, after that the victim and his wife got out of the car," said Zulpan

Next, Iko Uwais with his wife, Audy, and his partner, Firmansyah, approached the victim. They also had a fight. In the end, there was a beating.

"After that an argument broke out, then Iko Uwais and Firmansyah's brothers immediately hit the victim until the victim was injured," said Zulpan.

On this basis, the victim reported Iko Uwais and Firmansyah to the police. Reports are registered with the number LP/B/1.737/VI/2022/SPKT/Satreskrim/Polres Metro Bekasi.

In the report, Iko Uwais was reported with Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding beatings.
