Sukabumi Police Turn To Investigate The Existence Of Muslim Khilafatul

SUKABUMI - The Sukabumi Police are currently still investigating the existence of the Khilafatul Muslimin organization in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, which is suspected of spreading ideas contrary to the Pancasila ideology.

"We have visited the Khilafatul Muslimin Islamic Boarding School directly in Cikembar District and conducted a clarification interview for seven people related to the existence of this organization," said Sukabumi Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP I Putu Asti Hermawan Santosa, reported by Antara, Friday, June 10.

According to Hermawan, in this case his party has also examined a number of parties, starting from the leadership of the Khilafatul Muslimin Islamic Boarding School and a number of their students. Then supervise the activities carried out by this organization in the Sukabumi Regency area.

The police are also still summoning a number of parties involved in the organization to provide information, as well as clarifying the relationship with the Khilafatul Muslimin organization whose teachings are considered to be contrary to the ideology of Pancasila.

"Until now, we are still investigating through a series of examinations whether the Khilafatul Muslimin Islamic Boarding School in Sukabumi Regency is related to other regions," he said.

Hermawan said that in investigating this case, his party is also coordinating with other agencies and appealed to the public not to be provoked by issues that are not necessarily true and to restrain each other.
