JAKARTA - Two armed robbers carried out a robbery at Indomaret Otista Biduri, Jalan Otista, RT 01/03, Bidaracina Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. Worse, one of the perpetrators poured gasoline on one of the Indomaret cashier employees and threatened to set fire to it.

Amelia said, the two perpetrators entered Indomaret and immediately approached the cashier. One of the perpetrators pretended to be buying cigarettes. Then, another perpetrator approached Sigit and poured gasoline on Sigit's body.

"The perpetrator had threatened to set fire to it," he said in his statement to the police, Friday, June 10.

The perpetrator threatened to burn it. Then Sigit tried to fight the perpetrator, but the other perpetrator who was at the cashier approached Sigit and again threatened to use a firearm.

The perpetrator then dragged Sigit to the cashier and took some money that was in the cashier's drawer. After the two left with some money, the victim immediately reported to the police. The action was also caught on a CCTV camera inside the mini market.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for East Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Ahsanul Muqaffi confirmed the incident.
