JAKARTA - BUMD DKI Perumda PAM Jaya is having a land dispute with a resident. The disputed land area is 4,900 square meters located on Jalan Sunter Selatan, Blok O.5, RT 08/11, Sunter Jaya Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta.

The issue of mutual land claims has made the DKI Jakarta DPRD intervene. Deputy Chairman of Commission A for Administration of the DKI DPRD, Inggad Joshua, stated that his party would explore the issue of land claims.

Inggad said that the deepening of land dispute issues was carried out by collecting authentic evidence from the ranks of the Regional Apparatus Work Unit (UKPD) in the relevant area.

"We have given the task to the executive in this case the Mayor, Camat, Lurah and the Legal Bureau to make a chronology or mapping with the North Jakarta BPN so that we can see the flow clearly," said Inggad, quoted on the official website of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Friday, June 10.

Both PAM Jaya and the residents in the case, continued Inggad, both claimed to have a legal basis. Even the High Court did not issue any decision on the lawsuit that had been filed.

"Because the decision is NO (Niet Ontvankelijke Verklaard) which means that the lawsuit cannot be accepted or followed up for certain reasons. That's why we ask for a flowchart, so that we both know where the problem is," said Inggad.

For information, Commission A DPRD DKI Jakarta received a complaint from the heirs on behalf of Djasman. Djasman claims his land in Sunter Jaya was taken by PAM Jaya.

The problem began after Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD received a complaint about land grabbing reported by an heir on behalf of Djasman. Djasman, through his attorney, stated that there was one company, namely PT Karya Beton, which suddenly placed a pipe on the land on the grounds that it had paid rent to PAM Jaya for 10 years.

However, Perumda PAM Jaya President Director Syamsul Bachri Yusuf explained that his party had paid Rp244 million for the land in 1982 and the land survey letter had been issued since 2016.

Meanwhile, the Sub-Coordinator of Legal Services Affairs of the DKI Jakarta Secretariat Legal Bureau, Irwan Isdaryanto, asked for a maximum of one month to examine the problems in this case and collect data related to land ownership in Sunter.

"We need time for coordination regarding the inventory of data with a number of related parties so that it can be clean and clear as soon as possible," said Irwan.
