JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has opened an investigation into a new case related to allegations of bribery and gratification at the Central Memberamo Regency Government, Papua. It is suspected that this receipt is related to project work.

The witnesses were the President Director of PT Bumi Abadi, Jusieandra Pribadi Pampang and the President Director of PT Bina Karya Raya as well as the President Commissioner of PT Bumi Abadi Perkasa, Simon Pampang.
From the two people, they were investigated regarding a number of money flows to related parties in this case.
"The two witnesses were present and confirmed, among others, related to the implementation of the auction at the Central Mamberamo Regency Government and the alleged flow of a sum of money to obtain work projects from parties related to this case," said Ali.
Actually, investigators will also examine two other people, namely the President Director of PT Solata Sukses Bangun, Marten Toding and a civil servant from the Public Works Service of Central Mamberamo Regency, Haus Ansar. However, both of them did not attend and will be rescheduled.

During the search, investigators found several pieces of evidence. Including money transaction records and electronic devices.
"From this location, the investigative team found and secured various evidences, including documents related to work projects, money transaction records and electronic devices that allegedly could shed light on this case," Ali explained.
Furthermore, all this evidence will be analyzed by KPK investigators. "Then (the evidence, ed) was confiscated to be re-examined and confirmed by witnesses and suspects," he concluded.
