Three Expeditionary Employees Robbed, The Victim Doesn't Move When The Perpetrator's Machete Is In Front Of His Face

JAKARTA - A total of three perpetrators equipped with sharp weapons carried out a robbery against two expedition employees on Jalan Pintu Kecil II, Roa Malaka, Tambora, West Jakarta.

According to Juanda (22), one of the victims, at that time he and three of his friends were trying to close the expedition shop where they worked.

At that time, Juanda asked one of his friends to buy cigarettes. But not long ago, there were three perpetrators using a motorbike together, suddenly entered the gate.

"I was sitting while waiting for my friend to buy cigarettes, it didn't take long for someone to come in pretending to ask 'is the gate open or not?' It's closed, you can't pass. Oh yeah, after that, turn him (the perpetrator) down and take out the gun," the victim told reporters, Tuesday, June 7.

After getting off the motorbike and taking out a sharp weapon, the perpetrator asked the victim and his friend to be quiet while threatening with a sharp weapon.

The three perpetrators asked the victim to hand over all the items in her hands and one of her friends.

"The items that were confiscated were two cellphones and their wallets, maybe money was also there. There were two victims, I was with my friend. If I had a cellphone, my friend's wallet and cellphone were the same," he said.

At the time of the incident, continued Juanda, the victim's friend managed to escape by running but was chased by two other perpetrators. The victim's friend was again caught by the perpetrator. The three perpetrators threatened the two victims.

"There were no injuries, my friend who ran away fell. If I just stood still, I couldn't fight him with a machete. The blade was the same as a samurai sword in front of my face," he said.

The victim immediately reported the incident to the Tambora Police.

Tambora Police Chief Commissioner Rosana Albertina Labobar confirmed the incident. It has also received reports of the robbery case.

"Currently, the case is still under investigation," he said when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, June 7.

Currently, the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still examining a number of witnesses related to the incident. The police have also checked the CCTV footage around the location. Police are also still studying the seconds of the incident in the CCTV footage.

"When we processed the crime scene, we got several CCTV points, later we will coordinate with the owner to look for clues about the characteristics of the perpetrators," he said.
