Jayapura Deputy Regent Reminds Head Of Villages In Orderly Administration: Not To Deal With Officials

PAPUA - Jayapura Deputy Regent (Wabup) Giri Wijayantoro requires all village heads in this region to manage budgets properly and in an orderly administration in carrying out government duties.

"The goal is to avoid dealing with law enforcement officers in the future. If there is a village budget (funds) it must be managed properly," he said when inaugurating four village heads in Sentani, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, June 7.

According to Giri, his party reminded the village head to always be careful in managing finances so as not to get caught in legal problems.

"The more budgets that are managed, the greater the risk. We hope the village head can realize that what is demanded is administrative order," he said.

He asked the village head to also understand the rules and regulations related to village government laws, including their derivatives, so that they can always be used as guidelines in making policies.

"The village head as a budget user must always be careful in every financial management process, always follow the rules so that there are no violations," he said.

He asked the newly appointed village head to provide the best service to the community.

"We ask that the village government is always ready to provide the best service to the community. If the community needs services, the village government must always be ready," he said.

Jayapura Deputy Regent Giri Wijayantoro inaugurated four village heads who were selected as a result of the village head election in Kemtuk District, Jayapura Regency, which took place in the field of the local Regent's Office, Tuesday 7 May.
