JAKARTA - A Truck Dam was involved in an accident with three motorbikes in Gilik Hamlet, Kawo Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Sunday, June 5. One five-year-old boy died with serious injuries.

"The victim who died with the initials AP, aged 5, who was the son of a Honda Vario motorcyclist with the initials RT (30) was a resident of Kawo Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency," said Pujut Police Chief Iptu Derpin in Praya, quoting Antara, June 5.

Meanwhile, the Honda Supra Fit motorcyclist, initials S (40) in Barelantan Hamlet, Gapura Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency and the Honda Beat motorcyclist Initial HA (50) Kawo Village, Pujut District, were injured.

"Two victims with the initials RT and S were referred to the Praya Hospital for medical assistance," he said.

The deadly accident involving a collision began when the truck driven by Initials MN (25), a resident of Perai Meke Village, Central Praya Subdistrict, came from north to south. Then when they arrived at the crime scene, suddenly the Supra Fit motorbike rider came out of the house gate trying to cross.

"Because of the sudden shock, the truck driver turned the steering wheel, so that the vehicle's position covered the road," he said.

Simultaneously, two motorists drove from the south to the north and directly hit the truck, causing the victims to fall. As a result of the incident, one of the victims, initials AP, who was riding with his mother, initials RT, died at the scene.

Obtaining this information, members went directly to the scene of the incident to provide security, process the crime scene and evacuate evidence and victims who were assisted by the surrounding community, and took the victim to the Sengkol Health Center for medical treatment.

"The evidence has been confiscated at the traffic unit at the Central Lombok Police for further handling," he said.
