Projo Attends The National Coalition Of The United Indonesia Coalition, Observer: KIB Gets Jokowi's Blessing

JAKARTA - Political observer from Esa Unggul University, Jamiluddin Ritonga, highlighted the presence of Projo volunteers in the national gathering (Silatnas) held by the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) on Saturday, June 4, evening. According to him, Projo's presence strengthens the signal that President Joko Widodo has approved the formation of the coalition. Moreover, said Jamiluddin, the political parties that are members of the KIB namely, Golkar, PAN and PPP are parties that support the government.

"Projo's presence at KIB confirms the assumption that this coalition has the blessing of Joko Widodo," said Jamiluddin in Jakarta, Sunday, June 5. Jamiluddin assessed that the arrival of Projo Chairman Budi Arie Setiadi was an extension of President Jokowi. This also reinforces the notion that KIB is a coalition formed by the palace to determine presidential candidates who will fight in 2024. "Therefore, it is natural that the presence of KIB is considered an extension of the Palace. This means, the Palace wants certain presidential candidates to be carried in the 2024 presidential election," said Jamiluddin.

Jamiluddin suspected that the United Indonesia Coalition was prepared to carry the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo. Because according to him, politically Projo is an extension of Jokowi.

"KIB seems to be prepared to become Ganjar's boat. This is the figure that Jokowi would approve to continue his unfinished program, especially IKN," he explained. Because he said, there were indications that KIB and Projo would win Ganjar.

"The chance for the coalition of parties supporting the government to split will be even greater. If this happens, Jokowi's cabinet has the opportunity to falter. Because the power of PDIP is very dominant in the coalition of parties supporting the government," he said.

Previously, the General Chair of Pro Jokowi Volunteers (Projo), Budi Arie Setiadi, said the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) which was declared from the Golkar Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), and the United Development Party (PPP) was a smart coalition. at the National Gathering (Silatnas) event held by the United Indonesia Coalition in the City Forest, Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday, June 4, evening. According to Budi, the coalition is filled with a good component between Islamic and nationalist political parties. "PAN represents Muhammadiyah voters, PPP nahdliyin, nationalist Golkar, these are good components. Underneath there are no clashes, I believe this is a smart coalition," Budi told reporters, quoted on Sunday, June 5.

Budi emphasized that Projo is ready to discuss with the Golkar Party, PAN, and PPP in building a better Indonesia in the future. Because, he considered, the cooperation between the three political parties is something that needs to be supported.

"KIB has the same spirit as Projo. In building this great country, you can't do it alone, all components of the nation must unite, work together, work together," said Budi.
