JAKARTA—The Golkar Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), and the United Development Party (PPP) officially signed the cooperation through the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB), Saturday (4/6/2022). With this signing, the three parties are like saying the qabul consent to jointly welcome the 2024 General Election.

The General Chair of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, said that this momentum was like the first part of the preparation of the MCH workbook. After this signing, the three political parties will synergize starting from the top leadership in the central management, to cadres and regional administrators.

Airlangga instructed all party cadres bearing the banyan tree symbol in the regions to welcome the presence of the general chairman of PAN and PPP when visiting the area.

"I also invite when the general chairman of PAN (Zulkifli Hasan), the general chairman of PPP (Suharso Monoarfa) come to the regions, I instruct all administrators, heads of provinces, districts, cities, welcome our friends," said Airlangga during a political speech at the National Gathering of KIB, in the Plataran City Forest, Saturday (4/6).

The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs emphasized that Golkar wants to build a coalition with solidarity and shared leadership.

He said, after the signing of this cooperation agreement, the three parties would continue writing books until the 2024 general election.

Airlangga said Golkar had started synergizing cadres from three regional parties. West Java Province became a pioneer because it managed to unite 12 thousand KIB party cadres when holding the opening of the Level I DPD Regional Work Meeting (Rakerda) in Bogor.

"I want to ask all administrators, both the provincial Golkar DPD, regencies/cities, to hold the same event," said Airlangga.

The chairman of Golkar asked PAN and PPP to do the same to synergize the strengths of party members at all levels.

"This is a historic moment, an extraordinary moment, and of course I can't convey it in words, but the atmosphere tonight is an atmosphere that is woven into friendship and brotherhood. This is more than 1,000 words that can be written," said Airlangga.

Airlangga, who is also the Chairman of the Committee for Handling the Covid-19 and National Economic Recovery (KPCPEN), emphasized that although it was started by three parties, KIB was very open to other parties who wanted to join the struggle together. Airlangga is optimistic that the experience of the three parties that have united has made other parties interested in joining.

“The United Indonesia Coalition is very open to the joining of other political parties in this boat. We realize that building a nation cannot be done by one group or individually. Building a nation requires cooperation, synergy and collaboration," said Airlangga Hartarto.
