JAYAPURA - Jayapura City Police Chief AKBP Victor Mackbon ensured that the dispersal of the demonstration against the new autonomous regions (DOB) was safe. Because members in the field do the handling gently or persuasively.

The security forces are ready to help facilitate the demonstrators who want to go to the Papuan DPRP to convey their aspirations but do not go on a long march.

"We will not be allowed to carry out long marches at any time because there were examples in 2019 where demonstrators carried out anarchic actions along the roads and no one was held responsible, so that's a record," said Mackbon.

The former Wadirkrimsus Polda Papua admitted that currently the security and security situation in his area was under control and community activities were going on normally.
